About Me
My name is Jen Herron. For several years, I have dedicated myself to the art of metalsmithing and have transformed my passion for artisan jewelry into a thriving business.
I have always been passionate about sharing my skills and knowledge with others. Helping to make connections, foster relationships, and create a supportive community among artists brings me great joy. I was the Metalsmith Instructor for Multiplicity Art Studio in Katy, Texas for 2 1/2 years. When the studio closed, I promised to continue sharing the joy of creating artisan jewelry.
I have a well appointed personal studio and offer a variety of classes. Many of my classes are project based and geared to beginner or intermediate students.
In addition to teaching, I create and sell artisan jewelry. Specializing in sterling silver, my work often features natural stones like turquoise, jasper, agate, and many others. Each piece is handcrafted with care, ensuring that it is not only unique, but meant to be enjoyed for many years.
For me, making jewelry is about so much more than merely producing an item for someone to purchase. The process of taking a simple sheet of sterling silver or wire and transforming it into an amazing, wearable piece of art is truly magical. It’s about feelings, moods, and experiences.
All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind. Many share special messages or symbols, while others can be customized with your own personal message.
Whether you are looking to learn a new skill or to find the perfect piece of jewelry, I am here to help.
On a personal note, I am a proud mother of four wonderful boys, ranging in age from 15 to 26. I have been married to my best friend and supportive partner for 22 years. Together, we love traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time in nature. These experiences are a definite source of inspiration for me, fueling my creativity and influencing my designs.
Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope you find something that speaks to you.
